About me

Hi, I'm Ross, as a qualified Carpenter and Joiner with almost a decades experience, I love what I do. Woodworking isn't just a job for me but something I am passionate about so I have spent the last 9 years constantly perfecting my craft as well as finding new and interesting techniques of construction. I have a great appreciation for the craftsmanship that went into traditional joinery and enjoy replicating it joint by joint. Alongside this I have good knowledge and practice with modern construction methods.

My experience as a Carpenter was in the Architecture Department at the University Of Nottingham. This gives me a unique insight into the design of buildings allowing me to offer custom designed builds and not just "off the shelf" units. Problem solving is at the core of what I do and I love to take on a challenge no matter how big or small to provide a truly unique product.

I enjoy physical labour and working with my hands to leave the world a better place than I found it. The feeling of watching something you've designed and spent long days working on be completed and seeing the smile on peoples faces is one of the best. My hope is to become a trusted name for timber construction and repairs in and around Nottingham and I'm grateful for every opportunity to make a difference for someone's home.
